We use an array of Nikon 5000ED scanners that produce stunning 4000dpi images, we constantly research scanners and believe the only way to get a better scan is to use commercial Drum scanners which can make the cost prohibitive.
We also post-process, crop and rotate all images by hand ensuring you get the highest quality images possible. Automated corrections often create unbalanced images and can even crop parts of the image you do not want to be cropped. Therefore all our images are balanced by hand by a digital artist.

All 5 x 5cm slides are scanned at a true optical 4000dpi – the quality of scans is second only to drum scanning.
Final cropped images are around 5300 x 3600 pixels giving on average a file size of 20MB per image.
Yes – TIFFs can be supplied for an extra 10p per image. As standard they are in the sRGB colour space but we can only supply other profiles as needed.
Yes – Slides are all manually post processed by hand to produce the best results. We do NOT use any automated corrections.
Yes – As long as the order is obvious, items will always be scanned in order, and returned to you in the boxes / folders they arrived in.
The typical turnaround time for completing a small slide scanning order is just a few business days. Keep in mind that this timeframe could extend during busy periods or if we’re handling particularly large orders.
