We splice together any broken film. The first 3 (3 inch reels), 5 (5 inch reels) and 7 (7 inch reels) splice are free of charge. Should a reel need more than this which is rare splicing is charged at £2 per slice above the free quota.
It is rare that existing splices are good enough to keep the film running through the machine. These will also be fixed under the above quota.
